We are currently looking to welcome to our Team an experienced and skilled Product Development Manager!
As Vimerson’s Product Development Manager you will oversee all aspects of our supplements formulation, innovation, and optimization.
You will be performing research in order to determine the best development and production strategy, as well as evaluating and resolving technical feasibility and production issues.
Along with the Sales and Marketing Team, you will study and monitor the existing client base and industry trends, and identify potential new products and market opportunities.
You are passionate about health and wellness, you have excellent leadership abilities and strong commercial skills.
You are a dedicated and great team player, but most importantly, you put happiness and fulfillment first, proactively seeking your ideal life/work harmony.
As our Product Development Manager, you will:
*Provide technical and strategic leadership to design and implement effective and functional processes for customized formulations, product innovation, and optimization.
*Leverage technical insights and product development techniques to improve existing products as well as develop and commercialize new ones.
*Work closely with the Sales and Marketing Team in order to identify new market opportunities and develop product ideas, based on customer/marketing insights.
*Apply standard best practices and procedures in conjunction with hands-on formulation to determine the patentability, lifecycle and success of our products.
*Monitor the quality performance of existing external manufacturers, develop product specifications and performance metrics, and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
*Manage continued approval and ensure continued confidence in the external manufacturers to perform at the required standard.
*Establish and support testing procedures, in order to ensure product compliance.
*Work on recommended referred packaging options for new products.
*Maintain knowledge of current regulatory and industry compliance trends.
*Provide instructions to address customers product related FAQs.
*Food Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or other relevant Science degrees.
*Experience in the pharmaceutical and/or dietary supplement industry in R&D/ Formulation development/Quality Assurance.
*Knowledge of pharmaceutical/dietary supplement quality industry regulations FDA, GMP, GLP, ICH Q7, 8, &9; 21 CFR 11, 210/211, 111, and 820 USP/EP Compendia and ISO 9001 and ISO13485.
*Broad understanding of manufacturing operations and solid knowledge of regulatory requirements for pharmaceutical/dietary supplement processing.
*Great communication skills.
*Full English language proficiency is a must.
