This is a remote permanent position for candidates based in UK or Ireland.

NearForm is a remote-first digital solutions company that is growing rapidly. Great content is core to our marketing and sales efforts. We are looking for an accomplished content writer who can help to showcase our technical expertise, services and client stories to our enterprise B2B market.

You are passionate about exquisitely written long-form content. You recognise that creativity is key to success in any field, regardless of the tools used.

You understand the value and importance of good software development for both business and consumers — and you’re intrigued by the prospect of telling those stories in unique and engaging ways. You are never frightened by technology jargon, but can get the main gist of it quickly and craft technical content into engaging content quickly and comfortably. 

You can optimise for keywords without exhausting them.

The role?

As Content Writer, you will work with the Marketing and Operations teams to create a variety of content that positions and explains the services we provide, including blogs, case studies, whitepapers, web copy, ads and more. You will champion the brand, generate buzz and create interest in the incredible work we do.


You will:

  • Ideate, research, write and edit content across all relevant channels (web, social, print, etc.)
  • Manage relationships with subject matter experts to make sure content is accurate
  • Deliver content assets that are accurate, timely, high-quality and on brand
  • Review content drafts from other contributors for consistency and style
  • Be accountable for choosing the best format for displaying information to the user
  • Participate in planning and executing content marketing campaigns
  • Provide content and editorial advice to other members of the marketing team
  • Make sure appropriate policy and legal checks take place

As part of the Marketing team, you will report directly to the Head of Propositions.


What do you need?

  • Extensive experience of writing across multiple content channels
  • Experience using content publishing systems
  • Ability to deliver alongside designers and developers as part of an agile team
  • Native English speaker or equivalent fluency
  • Experience working in a tech company
  • Excellent ability to write for the web and create accessible, usable content
  • Ability to make complex language and processes simple to understand
  • Experience applying metrics and user feedback to refine content
  • Experience with SEO and keyword optimisation
  • Good time management and ability to work independently

Some preferred qualifications include experience developing content briefs, working with Photoshop or Illustrator, and working in a remote environment long term.
